Marty is an online marketing specialist who happens to have married a young RN some 10 years ago. Soon after they married, she began attending Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia (MTSA). After participating with her in every way through the school work (where he was of little help) and, as graduation neared, in the job search. He was really disappointed at the state of the online world as it pertained to the servicing of an anesthesia professional with regard to their career. There were job boards scattered all over the web as well as tons of agencies, but, it was a tremendous amount of work to even come close to looking at a comprehensive set of options let alone compare them easily and hope to make a truly informed decision.

Like most everyone else before, they muddled through. His wife Tondra ended up with a great job with a wonderful group in Knoxville and he ended up with a goal to someday make the process of finding a CRNA job easier, more enjoyable, more efficient, and possibly even fun. 5 years later and with the help of some great partners, CRNA Direct was introduced as a different kind of placement agency. Scott has over ten years of sales and marketing management experience in the mass communications industry and nonprofit sector.  Scott also spent eight years in the U.S. Navy deploying to Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm as a communications specialist.

Scott lives in Nashville, TN and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Siena College and an M.B.A. from The University of Tennessee.

Rick White is a partner at CRNA Direct.  He is founder and Managing Partner of White & Associates Executive Recruiting, Inc. in Knoxville, TN.   Rick’s firm incorporated in November of 2006 and began by servicing the world’s largest Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organizations.  As the firm expanded, Rick and his staff diversified and became leaders in executive search within Telecommunications, Food/Beverage Manufacturing, Information Technology and Healthcare.  Prior to his career in executive search, Rick led large customer support teams at Jewelry Television, Elavon Global Payment Systems and SITEL.  He is a graduate of West Chester University with a BS in Business Management.  Rick and his wife of 25 years, Donna are natives of the Philadelphia, PA area and now reside in Knoxville, TN with their sons Stephen and Eric and their Black Lab Beau.
